Ashita wa Doyōbi (あしたは土曜日, Literally meaning "Tomorrow is Saturday") is a spin-off manga based on Karakai Jōzu no Takagi-san series, also written by its author, Sōichirō Yamamoto. It was serialized in the newspaper Yomiuri Chuukousei Shinbun between November 2014 and November 2015. It also was animated and aired within the Karakai Jōzu no Takagi-san anime adaptation.[1]

Story[]

The main characters are three schoolgirls and the stories revolve mostly around their talks and what they do in life general. Art is simple and clean. The background is usually something "non existence." Comedy comes from the girls different personalities and ways to adapt into situations in life. Mina is active and usually starts things. Yukari is the class rep and usually follows Mina's lead. Sanae is a member of the Track club and the most inactive part of the group. She prefers to stay cool and act rationally.
